lojo

The small thing that brings you back to yourself.

A daily companion for the days you feel lost. Open it when you don't know what to do next.

lojo (n.) /ˈloʊ.dʒoʊ/ — the small, quiet thing that brings you back to yourself.

When you feel adrift, you don't need a map. You need a lojo. A tiny action. A walk to the corner. A message you almost didn't send.

Three face-down cards waiting to be picked
Three cards dealt.
A picked card revealing today's fortune and action
One picked. All three reveal.
A journal of past days, each with a symbol and a line
Your day, kept quietly.
A garden of 24 symbols unlocked over time
A garden, slowly.

How it works

1.

Tell lojo where you're lost.

One sentence. A feeling. A question. Or nothing at all.

2.

Pick one of three cards.

All three reveal. The one you picked is today's. The other two — fate had other plans.

3.

Do the small thing.

Under thirty minutes. Specific, doable, written for who you are today. Record a two-second moment when you begin.

Why lojo

Written for you, not for everyone.

AI reads your mood, your profile, today's confession, and the streets near you. Never a generic "go for a walk."

No streaks. No goals. No noise.

Lojo is closer to a tarot reading than a habit tracker. One small thing for today. Tomorrow is a different day.

Your words stay on your device.

Confessions, reflections, and the two-second moments live in your private iCloud. Nothing leaves your phone for any third party.

Be the first to know

We're getting Lojo ready. Drop your email and we'll write to you the day it opens.

No ads. No third-party tracking.

Questions

How is this different from a journaling app?

Journals ask "what happened?" Lojo asks "what now?" Each day starts with a small, specific thing to do, not a blank page. The journal builds itself from what you completed.

Is the AI reading my actual private thoughts?

Your confession is sent to Anthropic's Claude API (via our own server, no third parties) to generate that day's three lojos. The response and the action you complete stay on your device + your private iCloud. Anthropic does not retain prompts under the model API terms.

What's the two-second video for?

When you tap "Begin" on today's lojo, lojo records two seconds with the front camera — not a selfie to share, but a soft mark that you began. It saves alongside the day in your journal.

Can I share what I get?

Yes, but only if you want to. There's a Share button on each day that drops the day's "fortune card" image straight into your Instagram Story. Your confession stays private.

What does "lojo" mean?

It's a coined word — the small, quiet thing that brings you back to yourself. We borrowed the shape of the sound from old English "lo" (look) and Japanese "go" (a piece, a turn). A lojo is one turn back toward yourself.

Will it work for me if I'm not into tarot / horoscopes?

Lojo isn't supernatural. The card-and-fortune ritual is a frame for the AI's writing. If you'd rather skip the mysticism, the practical thing underneath is: a calm, specific suggestion for what to do in the next thirty minutes, every day.
