Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of lojo (the "app"), provided by lojo ("we", "us"). By installing or using lojo, you agree to these terms.

1. Lojo+ subscription

lojo is offered as a single subscription tier called Lojo+.

2. What lojo does

Lojo provides AI-generated daily suggestions called "lojos" — small, doable actions for today, tailored to who you are and where you are. The actions are recommendations only; you are responsible for your own choices and well-being.

Lojo is not medical, mental health, or therapeutic advice. If you are in crisis, please contact local emergency services or a mental health professional.

3. Your content stays yours

Anything you write (confessions, reflections) or capture (the one-second completion clips, photos attached to reflections) stays on your device and your private iCloud. We never have access to it.

4. Third-party services

To generate your daily lojos, the app sends your written confession plus a small profile (age, zodiac, MBTI if provided, religion if provided, interests, your approximate location district) to Anthropic's Claude API. It also queries Google Places to find real nearby locations.

5. Account & data

Lojo does not require an account. Your data is stored locally and synced to your private iCloud database via Apple's CloudKit. Deleting the app removes the local copy. To remove the iCloud copy, go to Settings → Apple ID → iCloud → Manage Storage → lojo.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use lojo to harass others, generate harmful content, or attempt to extract or reverse-engineer the underlying AI prompts or models.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

Lojo is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that the app will always be available, error-free, or that the AI-generated content will be accurate or suitable for your situation.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, lojo and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms occasionally. Material changes will be communicated in-app or via the website. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
